CODA Hair wants to ensure your making confident purchases. Our company is based on making your life stress-free when it comes to hair extensions. With CODA you’ll get the service and premium quality that you’ve always wanted.

1)    Do your research on the company

You should know the company inside and out. What’s their mission? Where are they located? Who runs the company? These are all questions you should be able to answer. With CODA, transparency with our customers is a top priority. We want you to feel comfortable with our company and relatable to us.

2)    Only choose raw hair

Many scam hair extension companies will fill their products with synthetic hair. This is a huge problem when styling the hair because heat and/or chemicals (think developer or bleach) will melt the strands.  Here are some quick things you can do to find out if you are getting raw hair.

  • Wash your extensions hair with cold water.  After leaving them to air dry, check your extensions for tangling.
  • Wash the hair with hot water, looking out for dye running in the water or fading in the hair color.
  • If you are going to dye the hair, and bleaching is your first step, make a mental note of how light the hair can get with bleach.

If you are like us, you want 100% authentic hair. It shouldn’t be chemically treated or have added dyes. These additions will cause less than satisfactory extensions and cause them to have a shorter lifespan. With CODA, we can assure you will get true hair with a premium fit. With our provided hair care tips you can expect the extensions to last more than a year. We have wefts that are just a few months shy of being two years old!

3)    Check out their customer service

The key to a trustworthy company is their interaction with the customer. What do they offer for customer service and how willing are they to help if you have any questions? They should have contact information readily available for you to get more information or ask questions. This is one area that CODA Hair takes pride in. We are dedicated to making sure you have all the resources to get your questions answered.

4)    Read reviews

Another basic factor that sometimes gets looked passed is reading reviews. Check the website and the products to see the reviews from other customers. This often will tell you a lot about the product and may help with any concerns you may have had. However, it is also important to check social media as well. See if they have any pages or accounts and check there for input. We welcome you to check out any of the CODA Hair social media pages and you can see for yourself why people rock #CODAhaironly!
